Video Equipment

We have 7 camcorders with night vision capabilities using IR (Infra Red)

Just purchased a top of the range Sony DVD Camcorder which has

audio inputs, super steady shot and super night shot. We mainly use Sony.

These are then downloaded onto lap top and top of the range PC with video editing capabilities using Pinnacle

Software, where it is then burnt onto DVD.

Sony HVL-IRM

Extend the range of your Nightshot system by shooting with this Sony infrared light.

It enables strong definition over a great distance to deliver terrific video footage.

Cameras

We have standard 35 mm SLR cameras with zoom lenses along with infra red lens.

We have three digital cameras which when used with the laptop on scene we can instantly view the photos.

Infra Red Non Contact Thermometer

A clever and unique piece of measurement equipment, this thermometer,

because of its infra-red sensing method, does not require contact to take a

temperature reading. It is built in a rugged, hand-held pistol grip style case for ease of use.

When a measurement is required, you point the device at the object, and pull the trigger.

Yukon Directional sound amplifier

Room Thermometer

Room Thermometer are placed along side trigger objects so if any activity is

seen on the locked off cameras we can also tell if there was a temperature change at the same time activity occurred.

MP3 Recorder

MP3 Recorders are used to capture EVP's , but we have also found other uses for them,

On some location where footsteps have been reported we have place the recorders on

the floor boards and left them, by doing this if the footsteps happen during the

investigation you should be able to tell if it is natural movement of the floor boards or is indeed Paranormal activity

Yoga BM-26 Boundary Microphone

This clever device has the ability to turn any flat surface such as a floor, wall or table into a very

sensitive microphone diaphragm and this in turn increases the amount of the

sounds from a room that are recorded. Purchased through Parascience Shop.

Sony TCM939 Sound Recorder

On board microphone or coupled up with the boundary mic, this tape recorder/player can be used with batteries or the supplied power pack. Purchased through Parascience Shop.

Wind Chimes

Great for detecting slight breezes and the chiming sounds are said to

attract the spirits due to the frequency the chimes sound. Best used with the Hot Wire Anemometer.

Dowsing Rods

The ability to find ghosts, people, artefacts or substances by use of maps, pictures or physically being in a place are currently the most popular applications of Dowsing. Most dowsers use two 'dowsing rods' and/or a pendulum.

Compass

There are several uses of a compass on a investigation, they can be used alongside

Dowsing Rods to see if the is a pull on the magnetic field, and also

when placed along side trigger objects you can see if there was any effec

t on the magnetic field if any thing happens to the trigger object.
The team is also using them in an ongoing investigation of lay lines.
