Our investigation report on the Private house Rayleigh is now on line.

We can Confirm that Thurrock Paranormal will be holding a large investigation in the next few weeks, As soon has the investigation has been held we will post of where this investigation took place.

9th June

Update on the Fobbing investigation about the skull found at Pell House. (See Fobbing investigation page)

Palmers College has also been added to our other locations page.

On the 16th of June some of the team will be going on a small invitigation. The report will be placed on the site but the owners and the location will not be named.

We are also working to fix a date for a big investigation very soon.

Thank you all for the feedback on the Podcasts, Phil worked hard doing them and With a bit of luck we will bring you more soon.

We also hope to bring you a podcast chat with Steve and Elaine.

Its been some time since our last update and there have been a few changes.

Our Forum has gone down and we hope to rectify this in the next few weeks. In the meantime why not join our group on facebook. Just click on the Facebook icon and it will take you to our group on there.

Due to work commitments it has also been some time since the team have been on a full investigation but by no means is this to say we have not been busy, in fact it's been the opposite.
The team have been very busy visiting potential investigation locations and we hope to be going on a string of investigation shortly.

We have been working on the Pod cast over the last few weeks, You can now download a new and improved

27th July 2007 Eastbury Manor Investigation

Thurrock paranormal team held an investigation at Eastbury Manor House in Barking.

The investigation turned out to be a quiet one but it is too soon to say what we found.
We have lots of tapes to look at before we can tell what we have found.

What i can say is that Eastbury Manor House is a great building ....haunted or not.

We would like to give our thanks to Barking and Dagenham Council and the National trust for the letting us investigate such a great building.

Our apology
Due to Barking Councils Restrictions on their pc we were unable to bring you the live webcam last night.
I know that over 100 people tried to view the webcam last nigh.

We started to set the webcam up just after 6pm but at first found a connection speed was slow.
Later we tried a new connection and come within one click of the mouse button in bring you the webcam, As we hit the button we was hit with Surfcontrol that had been put in place by the Council. If we had know this had been the case before hand we could tried and applied for that to be removed.

Once again we offer our apology to out members and everyone that tried to view the Webcam

New Updated "Other Places"

On the 5th June some of the team Visited two locations in Grays.
The Chase and St. Clement's Church have now both been added to the "Other Place" section.

History updates

Researching the history has been updated to the following reports
The Old Rectory
The Bell Inn
Mucking
Fobbing
Most of the updates are lists of inhabitants of the areas that we have investigated
The names are taken from the 1851 census but all date back to 1841.

The Mucking history has also been updated with a photo of Mucking Hall plus a computerized imaged of the prehistoric site at Mucking

Video Clips

The Video clips on our website are being moved to Youtube. this will give us more space on our sever to host more photos of our investigations.
The video clip page on our website still can be used to view the clips as the are imbedded.
In time all our clips will be moved over.

Pod cast
You can now download and listen to the St Cleres Hall investigation report, over the next few weeks reports will be uploaded as pod cast. You can access the pod cast by the button on the main page of this website or by the icon at the top of our forum.
You can also find them on the I Tunes store.
In time we will be uploading Pod Cast's of EVP's and interviews taken at investigation locations.

Next Investigation

As of yet we do not have a date for the next investigation but it will be in a few weeks.
So far this investigation looks like being all outside so the investigation going ahead will depend on the weather.

27th July 2007
The Team will be investigating a location outside Thurrock.
The Location is very large and the investigation will last the whole night.
We will be running some new tests on this location to do with EMF and EVP.
What we are also trying to set up is a web cam that will allow you to view the location as we investigate it.
There are a few problems that we need to overcome to do this but we are working on it .
On the night of the investigation we will have a guest member . This will happen from time to time if we feel the location is so big we need extra members to cover the location.
The guest member is of trustworthy stature and more information will be made available regarding this member after the investigation.

Why would we do this?
We feel that it is important that Thurrock Paranormal keeps it reputation of being level headed and trustworthy, we go into an investigation with an open mind, Don't forget that none of the team apart from Me (Shane) know the history of the building.
If like this investigation we do bring in a guest member they need to have a proven track record of trust.
